Young Leeds based artist Morgan Cole continues his inspiring rise in prominence with an electrifying solo debut on Sola, comprising two club-ready jams set to turn heads across the globe this winter – Dark Reality.

Kicking things off, the title track ‘Dark Reality’ sucks you into a mesmeric hold with the aid of full-bodied beats, hypnotic harmonies and driving energy. A melting pot of robust elements and riveting low-frequency sound maintaining an emphatic and twisted character from end to end.

Completing the release, ‘Follow Me’ is slightly reminiscent of that famous opening nightclub scene in the first Blade movie. Hard and fast grooves, laced with ominously acid-like melodies and industrial tonal percs. Its sinister grittiness and gripping elements, led by a subtle yet eerie vocal hook, bring an almost techno-like feel – perfectly completing this ferocious peak time stomper.

2021 has been an amazing start for upcoming artist Morgan Cole as he emerged from lockdown with a new wave of music. Having spent the last few years honing his craft and skills in the studio, he signed his first EP to Patrick Topping’s label Trick. Since then, Morgan has released on Stress, Nervous Records, Cr2, Sola, and Realm. In February, he hit two number one spots with his Dancin’ / Alive EP on the Beatport Breaks and House charts. The lead track Dancin’ was named Arielle Free’s Big Whopper and Danny Howard’s Friday Fire on their Radio 1 shows as well.
