The Upon.You label taps up the talented ONNO for its next EP, and in return they get two solid club cuts with a fine remix from Wouter De Moor. ONNO has been a key house and techno producer for a while now. He releases on labels like VIVa, Saved and Moon Harbour and has become known as a gangster techno producer as a result. He also DJs at only the finest clubs across Europe and Ibiza such as Sankeys and Panorama Bar, and once again here proves he has the skills to pay the bills.

Elevate Men is first and is a chunky, dark techno roller with heavy drums and moody vocal mutterings. Squelchy synths and rolling abs all add to the infectiousness of the groove and this one is sure to rock basements as a result. Freak Now is then a more freaky and experimental cut with skewed synths and trippy sound designs added to a raw and heavy technoid beat. Full of weight, texture and off time percussive hits, it is a perfect after party tune.

The remix from Dutchman and Get Physical and Flashmob associate Wouter De Moor, is striped back to its bare bones then embellished with some classic Detroit soul and mournful pads. All in all, then, this is a serious release for serious DJs and dancers.
