Full debut release from one of the most downloaded artists in techno music POPOF’s ‘Love Somebody’ hits the stores at the end of June, and to our surprise its gets a full push from Jamie Jones and Lee Foss’s Hot Creations imprint.

‘Love Somebody’ is the first artist album of the year for the Hot Creations crew. ‘The first single from the track ‘Words Gone’ had huge support and was remixed from the likes of Luciano and boss man Jamie Jones

Bridging the gap between underground house & techno and more crossover vocal led disco-infused dance music. The fourth artist album to be released on the label. POPOF’s ‘Love Somebody’ has the right and feel to front the Hot Creations label. With rolling melodies and vocal lead tracks featuring on the LP.

‘Your Eyes’ and ‘Lidl Girl’ bring the catchy house rhythms and chicness to the album. ‘Arno Joey’ lays down solid vocals for both ‘Get Together’ and ‘Going Back’. With ‘Going Back’ getting remixes from Eats Everything, Lee Foss, Oxia & Miss Kittin and Luca Donzelli & Mar T.

If we could pick a track it would be the collaborative work from Miss Kitten and POPOF ‘Always in My Mind’. The track has a deep slow jackin groove to it, The vocals are something else as well.

‘I’ve been composing club-oriented dancefloor music since the beginning, and this album project allowed me to create tracks with a calmer side to them.’ explains Popof, ‘I teamed up with a singer, Arno Joey, who does the vocals on most of the tracks and Miss Kittin is also featured on ‘Always On My Mind’, a very sunny, warm song. Moreover, there are two other tracks that I’ve worked on with French artist Animal & Me – ‘Going Back’ and ‘Always On My Mind’ – who, in my opinion, is a newcomer to follow attentively.’
