Patrick Topping recruits Press for his debut release ‘The Angel EP’, arriving on Trick this May with a remix from Darius Syrossian.

Following a nod from the prestigious BBC Introducing, UK based DJ/producer Press drops his first EP on one of the hottest labels around in Trick, bringing three pumping originals while a remix from Moxy Muzik’s Darius Syrossian rounds off an impressive debut.

‘The Angel’ kicks off with the sort of dynamism Trick releases are becoming known for. Disco licks, vocal snips and crisp snare rolls push the track’s dancefloor impact potential through the roof. For Darius Syrossian’s remix, the Defected affiliate pulls back on the original’s elements, introducing tension and release throughout a series of entertaining builds and fresh vocal chops.

‘I’ve Got The Feeling’ ups the energy, leading into rowdy rave stabs, soaring samples, and pounding drums, leading into closing cut ‘I’ve Got The Groove’, which maintains the energy with sharp, visceral bass and skippy percussion to round out the release.
