DJ Sneak and Tripmastaz return as RareTwo Inc. for two energetic house cuts entitled ‘Rarethentic’ dropping on Nathan Barato & Carlo Lio’s Rawthentic this February.

Both artists need little introduction; Chicago house gangster DJ Sneak has been a purveyor of rhythmic cuts for decades, whilst Russian producer Tripmastaz has become a key producer making intricate house when not helming his Plant 74 imprint since 2009. The pair first came together when Tripmastaz released on Sneak’s Magnetic Recordings. They’ve since earned each other’s respect and established a solid working relationship including collaborations on Hottrax, Ovum, Plant 74 and Kwench Records.

They now join Rawthentic under their RareTwo Inc moniker for a two track release getting early support from Jamie Jones and Ricardo Villalobos.’Farley’ delivers a bubbling low end nesting under lively synth stabs that accompany iconic vocals whilst various infectious samples operate throughout. Aptly named due to its rising and falling bleeps and whistles, ‘Ups and Downs’ offers up expertly jacking percussion, a pumping bassline and a smooth vocal line to tie things together.
