SoSure Music drops another track from Rucks in late April, ‘Whatever’ EP. The EP includes three original tracks from the London based artist. SoSure Music established in late 2014 and is already delivering solid house cuts to a wider audience. With eight releases under their belt we can see a good year from the label.

Rucks brings some fresh new sounds to SoSure Music, following up from his debut release ‘Find Someone’ EP on the label in late 2014, bringing attention to himself from the likes of wAFF, Waifs & Strays and Droog. The title cut ‘Whatever’ starts the EP with a solid house groove, with heavy support from a leading bass sound. Sub tones, warbling pad lines an amalgamation of vocal chops and his archetypal swinging drum style.

Following is ‘So Bright’ which lays its focus on atmospherics with bubbling bass hits, airy synth sequences and soul-infused vocal lines while a more reduced rhythmic approach carries the dreamy groove for its five minute duration. Rounding things off is ‘Hiding’ which takes the vibe back to shuffling drum patterns and murky vocal murmurs, while saw-tooth bass hits and wandering organ hooks instill a rugged grit to shape things up.
