Josh Butler welcomes the highly regarded Russ Yallop and Seamus Shevlin to his Origins Rcrds imprint with a scintillating two tracker ‘Calibre’ which also features the excellent vocal talents of Mizbee.

For those immersed in the scene Russ Yallop should need no introduction since bursting on the scene over a decade ago as part of the Crosstown Rebels sound. Since then Yallop has become synonymous with the most reputable labels such as Hot Creations, Avotre and Roush. For his first release on Origins Rcrds he teams up with newcomer Seamus Shevlin, to produce a classy and energetic 2 tracker.

The first track is ‘Calibre’ which features the vocal talents of Mizbee. With dynamic bustling drums right from the off to get you moving, the slick production and arrangement of organs and synths give this a very fluid groove and it’s topped off with a high class vocal performance from Mizbee giving this track its unique identity.

The second track is ‘Perfect Strangers’ which has an evolving groove of hypnotic synths and chords, that combine with punchy beats and tasty vocal cuts which will get people up and moving on to the floor, where you’ll be able to meet those ‘Perfect Strangers”.
