Solardo’s first Sola release of 2022, ‘Riser’ is an encapsulating reinforcement of their globally renowned brand. For years, Manchester has been a breeding ground for the finest musicians and artists across the country. From Manchester acid raves to early 90’s Britpop, this northern region of the UK has been the birthplace for many musical subcultures in recent history. Born and bred Mancunian duo Solardo (James Eliot & Mark Richards, aka MRK1) have blazed a mouthwatering trail to the top of the house music world. In 2021, after a turbulent year and a half where the industry was forced to a standstill, Mark & James came firing out of the blocks with a headline tour around the USA, including a sold-out 5000 capacity show at Brooklyn Mirage with Camelphat. And with a full diary of shows to come, including a tour of their Higher series featuring established names such as Loco Dice, Nic Fanciulli, Andrea Oliva, Pan-Pot, Fjaak & Paul Woolford, it’s easy to understand why Solardo are widely applauded for leading the charge of the ever-growing current wave of house music that is sweeping through the worlds festivals stages and superclubs.
