On the flip side of latest Nervous Records release, currently celebrating its 25th year in operation, is a forward thinking remix by Supernova of a classic Nervous release, the Black Moon hip hop anthem ‘How Many Emcee’s (Must Get Dissed),’ retitiled ‘Must Get This.’ Supernova are an Italian DJ team and production duo consisting of ‘Emijay’ Nencioni and Giacomo ‘G.O.D.I’ Godi. They have been a force in house music over the past decade, both through their highly popular remixes and productions and their label Lapsus. Nervous has been unique throughout its 25 lifespan in its ability to release genre ‘ defining music in many different areas of music, including house, hip hop and techno. That openness to new sounds is well represented in this remix, where Supernova has masterfully combined a storming house music track with a vocal from one of NYC’s most famous MC’s, Buckshot of Black Moon.
