Delivering another delightfully underground release, SOSA’s COCO imprint welcomes Spanish talent Vidaloca with an undeniably on-point two-track EP.

The title track ‘Una Rosa’ kicks things off with a flurry of gritty analogue frequencies and glitchy percussive creativity. Hard-rolling beats and potent low-frequency rumble steer the track through a winding path of warped vocals and quirky accents to carve out a punchy dancefloor heater.

‘Gebrun’ rounds off the release with more rugged tones and undulating grooves from the outset, riding a wave of rhythmic modularity and hooking soulful vocal runs. It’s an instant party-starter with weighty sonics and endless danceability from start to finish.

Born in Barcelona, Vidaloca, a DJ and producer from smallish, knew his passion was electronic music. In recent years, his musical maturity and strong work in the studio continue to earn him the respect of the sector.

Currently, his productions have been pinned to the best clubs and large festivals worldwide by renowned artists such as Carl Cox, Paco Osuna, Marco Carola, Nic Fanciulli, Anja Schneider, Dubfire, Davide Squillace, Adam Beyer, Oxia, Ida Engberg, Umek, wAFF, Carlo Lio, Nathan Barato, Chus & Ceballos and many more.

More recently, Vidaloca’s tracks have repeatedly hit Beatport’s top 100 Tech House charts and numerous times on Traxsource. His work has featured on VIVa Music, Lost Records, Toolroom, Stereo Productions, Sanity and Deeperfect, among others.

Vidaloca’s style is characterised as Tech House enriched with different vocal cuts. If you’re looking for a monotone set, he is not your man. He is an artist who seeks constant groove in his sets and productions on the dance floor.
