Planet X boss Ben Sterling returns with two heavy-requested anthems as he drops his ‘Hey Mister’ EP.

Making appearances across the Ibiza season for the likes of Music On, Solid Grooves, Paradise, and The Martinez Brothers at Hï, it’s safe to say that fast-rising UK hotshot Ben Sterling has been a busy individual of late. The same applies on the release front, combining with Latmun and Bodeler for releases on Solid Grooves Records and Hottrax while finally releasing his massive remix of Tiga’s ‘Mind Dimension’. Having welcomed Joseph Edmund to the label as his first guest, he returns to his blossoming imprint Planet X to deliver the fourth offering as he reveals two long-awaited tracks from his summer sets across his ‘Hey Mister’ EP.

Harnessing an iconic vocal at the track’s core reinforced by punchy kicks, warped synths, and skittering samples, it’s easy to see why ‘Hey Mister’ has been getting rapturous reactions as a peak-time anthem with an instant impact. In contrast, ‘DMNDS’ is a shuffling heads-down, hands-up cut armed with a snaking bassline, playful vocal interjections, and sweeping electronics – providing a slick closer to the package.
