Ben Sterling launches his Planet X imprint with a special remastered EP, welcoming five previous Bandcamp only cuts for ‘Planet X Remastered’.

An emerging name amongst global house music, Ben Sterling continues to grow and evolve as one of the scene’s most hotly-tipped artists. Releasing material via Hot Creations, Edible, ORIGINS RCRDS and Do Not Sleep, his list of supporters includes Marco Carola, The Martinez Brothers, Jamie Jones and Michael Bibi, to name just a few. Following on from his massive 2021 single ‘Dimensions’ on Revival New York, he now adds label boss to his resumé as he launches Planet X to curate and showcase his own take on the genre ‘ kicking off with the release of five previous Bandcamp only productions across ‘Planet X Remastered’.

The lively ‘Es Nasty’ kicks things off with a powerful combination of punchy drums, rolling grooves and infectious vocals throughout, while ‘High Maintenance’ welcomes bubbling basslines, zipping lasers and further vocal work to unveil a hypnotic workout. Next, ‘Armando’s Groove’ utilises swirling low ends amongst warped rhythms, before picking up the pace and entering into the tight, straight-laced sonics of ‘The Whipp’. To close, ‘D.I.A’ harnesses an iconic vocal layered on top of murky melodies to journey deep into late-night territories.
