Nominated for ‘Breakthrough Producer’ at DJ Mag’s ‘Best of British’ Awards last year, IDEA label-boss Elliot Adamson makes his debut on HE.SHE.THEY this November. Remixing boiish & Mike Antix’s Do Too Much, the package includes two edits of the original.

The Tokyo Mix kick things off with gusto, as an infectious percussion-heavy backbone provides a rhythm that you can’t help but dance to. Amanda and Mike’s iconic ‘do too much girl’ vocals weave in and out, before an acid-laced breakdown paves the way for a pumping, synth-fuelled climax. Closing proceedings is the VIP Edit, a stripped-back dancefloor rework that features punchy kick-hat combos and an enchanting peak-time build up. 

At just twenty five years of age, Elliot Adamson has cemented his standing as a leading force in contemporary house and techno. A prolific artist, his back-catalogue speaks for itself, with three albums already released on his own label, IDEA. Last year saw the UK-native receive a DJ Mag ‘Best of British’ nomination for ‘Breakthrough Producer’, a testament to his keen ear for production, before former Mixmag cover star Patrick Topping swiftly brought him on as A&R for his Trick label and party series. 

Operating as an event series, record label and fashion brand, HE.SHE.THEY. is at the forefront of the contemporary inclusive movement. Acting as a safe space for individuals regardless of ‘age, race, sex, gender, ableness, religious background or sexual preference’, the brand’s ethos is to ‘create a planet without prejudice for people to be people’. A noble ambition, the label offshoot provides a new avenue for the brand to accomplish this, providing a platform for queer and marginalised artists to showcase their talent.
