Carlo Lio is arguably one of the most beloved artists and producers to hail from Toronto’s underground techno scene. Known for his chunky bass-laden beats, Carlo’s productions can be found on a multitude of top labels that include SCI+TEC, Intec, Atlantic Jaxx, No.19, MOOD, Bedrock, Mindshake, Desolat and his very own On Edge Society.

As his gift to the dance music community this Christmas, Carlo makes his long awaited return with the release of “Technicolour Boogie” on the Suara imprint. Two original masterpiece ready to blow all dance floors around the globe featuring two remixes from techno queen Nicole Moudaber and international stars Chus & Ceballos. Suara has a well-known affiliation for furry feline creatures with all its label artwork, and Carlo is maybe one of the biggest cat lovers in the industry. With two cats back at home in Toronto, he wanted to help a local charity this Christmas and has announced he’ll be donating a portion of the performance fee from his upcoming show at Stereo in Montreal to Ontario SPCA an Ontario-based charity for animals.
