Newcastle’s Cera Alba once again releases a weapon of an EP ‘Redshift Vortex EP’ on London based label and club night Troupe. Its only seems right that Cera Alba gets to grips on one London’s hottest labels and most successful events nights.

The two track Redshift Vortex EP contains tracks ‘Dura’ and ‘Event Horizon’, both which have an upfront club edge to them. Instinctively recognisable Cera Alba tracks with that predator like deep bass line and tight percussion work. ‘Dura’ is a bit of head down no nonsense track which has this thumping speaker damaging bass line. On the flip side ‘Event Horizon’ is a bit more open with the percussion work taking the lime light form the bass line.
