Essential underground tech house talent Denniz Cruz is back with another of his infectious EPs. This one comes on his own Lemon Aid label and features two more superb cuts.

Dennis is a Beatport chart topper, one of RA’s most charted artists and frequently gets covered by the major media. He plays all over the world and is a regular in the record bags of DJs like Jamie Jones and Marco Carola. Here he pulls out all the tricks once more and proves why he is such a recognised talent.

The brilliant Cookies is first and is seven shimmering minutes of smart drum programming. Above the loose, rubbery kicks, slick percussion flutters away as scattered cymbal splashes bring a trippy feel. It’s a track that teases you as it builds then pulls back, and is sure to make for an electric dance floor once it gets dropped.

Then comes Keep on Trying, a track with bouncing drums that encourage you to get on your toes. Dark vocal sounds, loopy percussion and bursts of synth all inject it with suspense and energy. Perfect for locking the whole club into a groove, it is another masterful track from the studio of Dennis Cruz.
