Mid-September welcomes label debuts for UK talent Jacky and South Aftrican vocalists Toochi as they combine once again to deliver ‘Champagne’ on Hector Couto’s Roush. Following a breakthrough year in 2016, with releases and remixes on Elrow, Wow! Recordings, Resonance Records and also Roush.

Jack Maughan aka Jacky has gone on to become a definitive favourite of many on the European scene, racking up appearances at the likes of fabric (London), Sankeys (Ibiza), Elrow (Barceolna) and Ministry Of Sound (London) whilst curating his ‘Jacky & Friends’ nights across the UK. Having recently collaborated to deliver ‘Trash Talk’ as party of his 2018 ‘Jacky & Friends’ compilation, here South African vocalist’s Toochi alongside the London based producer once again as the duo reveal two fresh productions this September.

Opening proceedings, title track ‘Champagne’ quickly introduces an up front and bubbling production with punchy kicks, bumping bass hits and a combination of reverberated vocal samples contrasted against refined vocal melodies, whilst ‘Putting You Out’ sees vocal elements shifted to become the central focus as Toochi lay down a medley of rich, soulful hooks guided by skipping hats and rolling drum loops.
