We are just feeling this one at the office of Upfrontbeats, The Miami man Jesse Perez producers what is one of the heaviest synth sounds we can imagine. ‘Thot EP’ released on Ellen Aliens BPitch Control Records at the start of February, is an original two track EP, with all the right favours to get the party started.

With releases on I’m A House Gangster and Hot Creation and his own imprint Mr. Nice Guy Records. Perez sees his first release for BPitch Control Records and he does not fail to deliver. Remixing Ellen Aliens ‘Kiss’ a few years back we knew it wouldnt belong before he got a release of his own on the label which she runs.

Perez himself calls his style Bump-N-Grind. And the title track shows already why: “THOT’ is one of those perfect Miami tracks with a wicked bass line and lots of old school driven hip-hop attitude, to which you can actually dance pretty contagious. Just as “Divine Intoxication’. Here a circular bass line moves around with a lascivious verve while Perez demonstrates his passion for direct percussion and nasty rhythms. The melodic addition isn’t new to his game, but a hallmark of his productions. The last track “Bukkake Challenge’ closes the EP not only with some animal madness ‘ in the true sense of the word ‘ but reinforces once again why Perez’ productions are the perfect choice for people who listen to hip-hop and also enjoying House Music.
