Melé welcomes Club Bad family friend Bontan back to the label with a powerful and hypnotic tribal party starter ‘Stutterman’.
In the last 12 months Bontan has released a stream of heavy duty tracks on labels such as Defected, We Belong, Origins Rcrds, and Circus Recordings, whilst collaborating with Booka Shade, Clementine Douglas, Josh Butler, Yousef, Pablo:Rita and Club Bad label boss, Melé, and also remixing Harvard Bass, Virak, Tom De Neef, and Lazarusman.
Bontan has amassed over 19 million streams on Spotify alone, and it is no surprise as he boast a large and highly engaged fan base from around the globe, particularly in Europe, Australia and North and South America. He has completed multiple high profile tours of the US in recent months, including playing alongside Carl Cox in Oakland and at CRSSD Fest in San Diego California and his latest release on Club Bad, ‘Stutterman’ has been causing dance floor mayhem everywhere he’s been.
With a pulsating bass rhythm and percussive groove, Bontan combines this with a searing hypnotic lead synth and tops is off with the tribal chants which work together in tandem to create huge intensity in the breaks that whip the crowd into a frenzy before hitting them with the a killer drop, it’s no wonder this has been a serious tune in Bontan’s armoury over the last few months.
