The young 24 year old “Jasper James” is set to release his brand new EP for “Leftroom” on the 1st of June. The given title “ZTRK1” contains three techno weapons with a super remix from “Skream”.

Taught to DJ at just 13 by his father, Sub Club’s Harri, this boy wonder has quickly risen to fame. ”Jasper has already featured on BBC Radio1’s world renowned Essential Mix more than once and has made various appearances on Rinse FM. As a result, Rinse FM have now given Jasper a monthly residency.

”His debut release ‘Sneaky E.P’ on Optimo’s Optimo Trax label went down a storm on dancefloors over the summer with backing from the likes of Bicep, Jackmaster, Eats Everything, Richy Ahmed, Skream and 2 Bears to name a few.

First track ‘ZTRK1’ opens in a flurry of arpeggiated bleeps before getting down to business with a pulsing acid bassline, steely hi-hats, and a mutating synth hook. ‘Motel One’ gets straight to the beat for a no nonsense piece of techno that offers surprise moments of euphoria as it wends its way.

Finally Skream, fresh from success with ‘Still Lemonade’ on Crosstown Rebels, adds a dark, throbbing energy to ‘Motel One’ with hypnotic, undulating pads, rhythmic bass and a cascade of spine-tingling topnotes.
