After an amazing first half of the year with releases from label owner Melé, as well as Joeski and Sam Holland, the label now brings in the talents of Denmark’s Milo S to the increasingly popular Club Bad.

Milo S has been a staple of the Danish and European scene for a number of years now, defining his sound, which is a blend of afro, latin and house, with a consistent output of releases on labels that include, King Street Sounds, Stashed Music, Glasgow Underground and Sony Music.

On the DJ front he’s played with a who’s who of DJs, including Monki, OFFAIAH, Gregor Salto and Riva Starr and was event invited to play the closing set at Ultra Music Festivals Europe edition of Resistance, alongside Nic Fanciulli.

For his debut release on Club Bad he drops his Our Teacher EP which comes with 2 original tracks and a dub. The first and title track from the EP is Our Teacher. The offbeat percussive groove sets the scene, before the low slung sub rolls into action. Add the high percussive elements of woodblocks and cowbells and a classy afro vocal hook over the top and you have an instantly recognisable track which is set to do damage to many a dance floor this summer. Our Teacher also comes with an edgy dub version for those who want a little less vocal in their tracks. The second track is Amanyala, with its darker, more organic feel, noticeable right from the off. A driving bass synth powers the track and Milo S utilises eerie pads for tension and gives it its melody line from the low end marimba synth, finishing this track off as very powerful B side for the EP

This year Club Bad has really stepped it up another level with amazing consistency of tracks from a great array of artists, both known and newcomers, delivering many of this summer’s must have tracks.
