Ronnie Spiteri drops three rumbling cuts on the newly launched Fusion Records with Set About founder Gallya providing the remix.

Well established DJ/producer Apollo 84 creates Fusion, a forward thinking Techno imprint and sister label to the ever progressing Twisted Fusion. Musically the new sound to come from Fusion draws upon Tech House for some of its foundations but adds in the thunderous energy, atmosphere and presence of Techno to deliver a truly refined sound carving its way in the scene. Following on from the release by Kydus, the imprint’s second outing comes from Ronnie Spiteri; a UK producer known for appearances on Do Not Sleep, Sanity, Leena, Resonance and his own label Kenja Records.

Decadent kicks and echoing synths make up the basis of ‘Reflect’ whilst a sensual female vocal whispers the track title throughout. The mesmerising ‘Simple Minds’ then blends a sultry bassline with intricate melodies before moving into the more peaktime focused ‘Mutiny’, with its rumbling low-end and sharp hats. Bulgaria’s Gallya then remixes ‘Reflection’, taking a dark and atmospheric direction using cavernous drums, intricate effects and subterranean stabs.
