“Ovum Recording” based out of Philadelphia, prides itself on finding artists and producing music that is a cut above the rest. This April “MANIK” takes charge, becoming an integral part of the Ovum family with this being his fifth outing on the label. “MANIK” delivers once again on that New York underground house sound with the “In Walks Bourbon” EP.

The EP contains three tracks, “Wink KD” is a groovy number with a hypnotic vocal sample. Changing at the breakdown considerably turning acid filled creating madness within the track. Second on the roster is title track “In Walks Bourbon” a classy number with a rolling bass and super hi hats. The EP concludes itself with “House Cut 2” with “MANIK” supplying catchy synth stabs and a top draw vocal sample

“MANIK” making another huge statement to Josh Wink’s imprint, maybe these guys should team up for a back to back session.
